ITINERARY
DAY 1
Upon your arrival in Vientiane, your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for the check-in. In the afternoon, the guided city tour will bring you to visit That Luang Stupa, Pratuxai, Ho Prakeo, and Wat Si Saket.

DAY 3
After breakfast, you will be taken to Muong Kham, where you will enjoy the natural hot springs, get close to the local lifestyle at Thajok, a minority village on the way., and visit Tham Piou Cave. In the afternoon, you will be taken back to Phonsavanh.

DAY 5
After breakfast, you will be taken to the busy Morning Phousi Market for watching the famous daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the procession. After seeing the spectacle, you will be transferred to the local pier on the Mekong River to embark on a traditional boat ride to Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of Buddha images can be seen. En route, you will stop over to visit Ban Xang Hai where you can try some sticky rice wine. Finishing the visits, you will return to your boat and continue to Ban Phanom, Wat Visoun and Wat Aham.

DAY 2
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be escorted to the airport and board the flight to Phonsavan, the capital city in Xieng Khouang. On arrival, you will meet your guide and be escorted to your hotel for the check-in. Afterward, your guided trip will start at Phonsavan’s bustling central market. Then you will head to visit the MAG exhibition to learn about mine clearing in Laos. Next, you will explore Site 1 of the ancient and mysterious Plain of Jars: an enchanting archeological site, where hundreds of large stone jars lie scattered about the plateau. Then you will continue to discover sites 2 and 3 and get a glimpse of some typical local villages along the way.

DAY 4
In the morning, you will visit the local market of Phonsavanh. Finishing the interesting exploration, you will then be driven north to Luang Prabang. You will enjoy the view and scenes of local life along the way before you have lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel and then be taken to visit Phousi Mountain and the busy night market.

DAY 6
In and around Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you will be guided to visit the Royal Palace Museum – the former king’s palace (closed on Tuesdays). There are many items nicely displayed, including rare furniture, traditional costumes, and arts, jewelry, ornaments as well as working tools and utensils. After the exploration of Morning Phousi Market, you will then be driven to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls, where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. Return to Luang Prabang, you will visit Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Mai before back to your hotel.
